First Field Deployment of the Year: Huangping Village Photovoltaic Power Station in Jingmen
Sunweather recently completed the installation and commissioning of a photovoltaic power plant environmental monitoring system at the Huangping Village PV Power Station in Jingmen, Hubei Province, marking the company’s first on-site engineering deployment of the year.

The Huangping Village photovoltaic power station is a large-scale utility solar project with an installed capacity of 100 MW and a DC-side capacity of 130 MWp. The site is equipped with a newly constructed 220 kV booster substation and reserved grid-connection interfaces, providing strong infrastructure support for stable power transmission and future renewable energy integration.

At this project site, Sunweather deployed the PC-2-T2 Photovoltaic Power Station Environmental Monitoring System, independently developed in accordance with international meteorological standards set by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), IEC standards, and relevant national grid technical specifications. The system fully complies with technical requirements for grid-connected photovoltaic power generation projects.

The monitoring system continuously measures key environmental and meteorological parameters, including ambient temperature and humidity, module temperature, wind speed and direction, atmospheric pressure, global solar radiation, direct and diffuse solar radiation, and sunshine duration. These data provide essential support for photovoltaic power forecasting, system performance analysis, and long-term operational optimization.
Designed for unattended operation, the system features high measurement accuracy, stable performance, and automated data acquisition and transmission. It enables reliable environmental monitoring under various operating conditions and supports professional photovoltaic power station management and energy assessment.
Through this project, Sunweather once again demonstrates its technical strength and practical experience in providing integrated meteorological monitoring solutions for large-scale photovoltaic power stations, supporting the safe, efficient, and intelligent development of renewable energy infrastructure.
