Automated PV Meteorological Station Commissioned at Atasi Honghong Photovoltaic Power Plant

Sunweather has successfully deployed an automated photovoltaic meteorological station at the Atasi Honghong Photovoltaic Power Plant in Suqian, Jiangsu Province. The system is designed to meet current standardized requirements for ground-mounted photovoltaic power stations, providing comprehensive environmental and solar radiation monitoring to support stable and efficient plant operation.

The installed system integrates full-range meteorological observation and solar radiation measurement, enabling continuous monitoring without manual intervention. With stable operation and high data accuracy, the station fully meets professional grid-connection and photovoltaic power plant performance assessment requirements.

This automated PV meteorological station monitors key environmental and operational parameters, including ambient temperature and humidity, module temperature, wind speed and wind direction, atmospheric pressure, global solar radiation, sunshine duration, total solar radiation, direct solar radiation, and diffuse solar radiation. These measurements provide reliable data support for photovoltaic power forecasting, system optimization, and long-term performance evaluation.


Upgraded from earlier-generation PV meteorological solutions, the system demonstrates improved adaptability to modern photovoltaic power station needs. Its unattended operation capability, precise sensing technology, and robust design ensure consistent performance under various environmental conditions.
