Solar Radiation Spectral Monitoring System Deployed at Alxa Environmental Monitoring Station

Recently, Sunweather Meteorological TechnologyCo., Ltd (SunWeather) successfully deployed a solar radiation spectral monitoring system at the Alxa Environmental Monitoring Station in Inner Mongolia. The system has been installed, tested, and put into operation, providing reliable and high-precision solar radiation data for regional environmental monitoring and scientific research.

As shown in the on-site installation images, the system is mounted on an open rooftop platform to ensure unobstructed solar exposure and stable long-term operation. It integrates multiple radiation sensors and control units, forming a complete and automated solar radiation observation solution suitable for urban and regional monitoring environments.

The monitoring system is designed in accordance with WMO (World Meteorological Organization) standards and supports comprehensive solar radiation observations, including global radiation, direct radiation, diffuse radiation, reflected radiation, and net radiation. In addition, the spectral measurement capability covers multiple wavelength ranges such as ultraviolet, visible, and near-infrared bands, enabling refined analysis of solar energy distribution and atmospheric optical characteristics.

All collected data are automatically recorded and transmitted, ensuring high data integrity, operational stability, and minimal manual maintenance. The system can also be customized based on user requirements, making it suitable for environmental protection agencies, meteorological departments, and scientific research institutions.
