Recently, Jinzhou Sunshine Meteorological Technology Co., Ltd (Sun Weather) successfully completed the installation and commissioning of a PV weather station for an agro-solar complementary project in Sanjiang Town, Meilan District, Haikou. The project combines solar power generation with aquaculture, making full use of abundant sunlight and long sunshine duration to create a favorable natural environment for clean energy production while promoting sustainable fishery development.

The installed PV weather station complies with WMO meteorological observation standards and IEC specifications. It features easy operation, high measurement accuracy, stable performance, and long service life. The system monitors a wide range of parameters, including ambient temperature and humidity, wind speed, wind direction, air pressure, and multiple solar radiation indices such as tilted radiation, global horizontal radiation, direct radiation, and diffuse radiation, as well as PV module temperature.


This PV environmental monitoring system is purpose-built for photovoltaic applications. By accurately tracking key meteorological and radiation parameters, it helps operators evaluate site conditions, optimize operating strategies, and improve overall plant efficiency. The collected data provides a reliable basis for refined operation and management of PV power stations, ensuring safer and more efficient energy production.
